This zipped file contains the BE application (AutoUpdate.exe) required to upload the software via an IP connection to the STX LP (Gen I) transmitter. This version will upload 2.8 into the controller and 1.7 into the exciter.

 

Note: Please be sure to unzip the downloaded file into one directory.

Features: "Corrects the external exciter power-control output signal when in HD or hybrid (FM+HD) mode.  Supports either the 540-0016-007 2kW power supply or the 540-0016-002 2kW power supply."  Also of note, this version was built upon v2.4; therefore, it will require that the audio inputs be recalibrated.

Features: "Changed Int/Ext exciter select from pulsed to level select-0=external exciter 1= internal exciter. Added menus for select in web gui, lcd gui, remote gui." This version allowed for better remote control for switching between internal and external exciters by sensing a controlled (latched) input state. Software v2.5 allows for an "Auto", "Internal Exciter", "External Exciter" setting with the ability to program via the front panel. The "Auto" setting would then monitor the input pin on the rear of the TX, while the "Internal Exciter" or "External Exciter" setting would override the pin on the rear of the TX. Also of note, this version was built upon v2.4; therefore, it will require that the audio inputs be recalibrated.

v2.4 12/21/10

Features: "Flat deviation versus RF frequency. Useful for N+1 systems in particular." This version added correction tables so that when the STX transmitter frequency was changed from one frequency to another, the internal exciter modulation was more consistent across the entire band. This version does require that the audio inputs be recalibrated.
